Hutchinson, KS — At today’s State Fair debate, Adam Hamilton revealed the following:
- Hamilton revealed he would vote against the Farm Bill in order to protect welfare fraud.
- Hamilton will vote for Chuck Schumer as Senate Democrat Leader — falling directly in line with the same leadership that aggressively attacks Kansas ag, cattle, and the oil and gas industry.
- Hamilton refused to apologize for or defend his sermons calling on Christians to repent for eating beef because cows hurt the environment.
- On voter ID and supporting the oil and gas industry, Hamilton remained totally silent.
“Kansas farmers can’t afford a Senator who won’t support the Farm Bill and hates the cattle industry,” said Senator Roger Marshall. “As a 5th generation farm kid who has fought tirelessly to keep agriculture first and provide certainty for the future, Kansas ag producers know I will always be their biggest advocate both in Kansas and in Washington, D.C.”
